We would recommend to take the train which will arrive at 9:25am in Castelldefels train station to arrive on time at the IN3.

We are delighted to inform you that the PhD consortium coordination team has now published the list of students who will present at this year’s consortium. Please find the list of students and the titles of their submitted abstracts here: http://www.icts-and-society.net/meeting/phd-consortium/

Due to the request of some participants we would like to use this blog entry and the comments function for those of the participants who would like to rent and share an apartment, hotel or hostel room together.
If you interested in sharing accommodation due to budget, social or whatever reason, leave a comment and we will serve as a hub to organize the requests. So people don’t have to publish their privat email-address here.

We are happy to inform you that we have now finalized the programme of this year’s meeting. Please find the programme at http://www.icts-and-society.net/meeting/schedule/.

Furthermore, we want to inform you that the review of the submitted PhD abstracts is still in progress and we will add the names of the PhD students as well as the title of their contributions to the programme as soon as we have finished the reviewing process and informed the students.

The official welcome reception will be held at the UOC Building in Rambla de Catalunya, 6, Barcelona. All other academic sessions will be held at the IN3 building in Castelldefels.

Following several requests we decided to extend the deadline for contributions to the 3rd ICTs-and-Society network meeting.

We welcome your suggestions by May 06, 2010.

You are encouraged to suggest panels or round tables, presentations or other formats around ICTs-and-Society related work.

The deadline for abstracts for the PhD consortium is also on May 06, 2010.

We are delighted to announce that Juliet Webster (Work and Equality Research, London) and William Dutton (Oxford Internet Institute) will be the keynote speakers at the 3rd international ICTs-and-Society network meeting!

We are glad to announce that this year’s hosting institution of the
3rd Annual Meeting of the ICTs-and-Society Network
is the Internet Interdisciplinary Institute [IN3] in Castelldefels, near Barcelona.

The meeting will take place from June 29th until July 2nd.
We are looking forward to deep discussions, great networking activities, and intense workshops.

Collocated with the Network-Meeting, a PhD Consortium will be organized on June 30, 2010.

The 3rd annual meeting of the ICTs-and-Society Network is supported by the University of Salzburg, Austria.
